This week’s ad of the week was produced for Rainforest Alliance to promote their ‘Follow the Frog’ campaign (you might be familiar with the little frog logo you see on packets of coffee and other products). The web film was written and directed by Max Joseph, who has worked in the past for brands such as Saab, Nike and Pepsi. Rather taking the conventional activist route of trying to load guilt onto the viewer, the ad pushes what you should do by setting out in hilarious detail what you’re not likely to do. In doing so, the film cleverly reinforces the fact that choosing rainforest friendly products when in the supermarket really isn’t such a difficult task. Film was produced by Wander Films.
