One of the highlights at the Monaco Media Forum this week has been the keynote discussion with Frank Holland, CVP, Advertising & Online at Microsoft, who discusses how Microsoft have been working to improve Skype, Windows 8 and Xbox for advertisers. While high level media events can sometimes be a little too broad and general for those of us who focus on a particular niche, it’s always interesting to see how companies like Microsoft are stitching together the very different components of their wide product range.

If you’re daunted by the 30 minute length of the video and are interested in the privacy debate, it might be worth you skipping forward to 19:04 when Andrew Fawcett-Wolf, CEO for Orange Advertising Network in the UK, poses a question about Microsoft’s policy on ‘Do Not Track’ in Internet Explorer 10.
