One of the big video announcements at Cannes this week was TubeMogul’s deal with Mondelez. TubeMogul struck the deal directly with Mondelez, but Mondelez’s agency will be executing the buys on TubeMogul’s platform, with TubeMogul providing training and support. Brett Wilson, CEO of TubeMogul, told VAN he believed that this co-operative three-way relationship could be the new paradigm, where technology providers become closer to brands but agencies still provide an important function.
